What is the differences between a strip-cut and cross-cut shredder?
Strip-cut shredders cut documents into long vertical strips, while cross-cut shredders cut paper into much smaller rectangular pieces. For high-security needs or HIPAA compliance, we recommend cross-cut or micro-cut models.
Do you offer freight shipping for heavy machinery?
Yes, large equipment such as industrial balers and high-capacity disintegrators are shipped via specialized freight carriers. Lift-gate service and inside delivery options are available at checkout.
How often should I oil my Whitaker Brothers shredder?
To maintain peak performance and longevity, we recommend oiling your shredder every time you empty the waste bin or at least twice a month for high-volume environments.
What is your return policy on electronic equipment?
Unopened items can be returned within 30 days of purchase, subject to a restocking fee. Please note that custom-built machinery or used consumables are generally non-returnable.
